30 YEARS OF GOOD BEER

CHALK HILL BREWERY

Chalk Hill Brewery was formed in 1993 by Bill Thomas, Tiny Little and David Blake – a group of friends with a shared interest in sailing, and beer. It now stands as the longest running independent brewery in Norwich!

The brewery was named after the surrounding area which was previously known as Chalk Hill, and is now Rosary Road. The brewery is a custom built 15 barrel plant and brews a selection of permanent and seasonal real ales. The brewery supplies it’s beer to local pubs including The Coach and Horses which is on the same site as the brewery.

The brewery offers free tours to anyone who is interested in learning a bit more about the work that goes into brewing our award-winning ales. Head Brewer, Rob, will guide you round the brewery, share some of his inspiration for the beers he's created and accompany you for a tasting at the end.
